Hello all,
I am from the USA. I had surgery to remove 30% of my small bowel where my primary was located and 60% of my liver removed because of mets to the liver on Dec. 28, 2011. I am still recovering from surgery and it has been a long difficult ride. I had to be admitted twice since my surgery and the latest trip was for a pulmonary embolism. Now I am on Coumadin therapy. I am also on the Sandostatin LAR injections 30mg monthly. I had my surgery at a local hospital and my surgeon had just transferred to my area from a large NETs facility. I feel very blessed to have a specialist in my little area of Ohio.
I am not much of a poster on forums, but I wish everyone well!! Thanks for a most wonderful site!!!
