Hi julie,
Just wondering how you are and have you any more info. after having to have more
scans done. How is the babe - hope she is doing ok. I haven't been on here for few
weeks as I managed to contract the flu about 7 weeks ago and just starting to get
picked up from it. Then I got a chest infection and with coughing from my boots a hernia
has developed in bowel wall. Apparently this can happen after bowel surgery.G.P. went
on to describe it in all its gory detail.....too much information said I.!!!! She then said I
have a picture of a man with one......Said hope to God he is wearing his Calvin Kleins I
had enough trauma for one day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyway, enough excitement Ju. Suggested I have more nuclide treatment with
Lutitieum in New Year ....but white cells still too low and body too weak after flu.
Shame they couldn't do it before Xmas could of stuck me in the corner lighting up and
save getting tree out of the loft.

Look forward to hearing from you

Love Lin xx

Hi, Everyone,

I now have had my results from my CT scan and mammagram and 24hr urine test , i am very pleased my Ct shows no change ,my tumors have not grown since 2009,the mammagram came back all clear and the urine test normal. So feeling over the moon ,the results have been sent down to the Royal free for them to have a look at as well and i go to see them in Feb. Just got to have another gut hormone blood test done now but that takes about a month to come back, so now i can relax a bit for a while anyway.

Hope everyone is keeping well

P. S my grandaughter is really doing well and growing bigger and stronger everyday.

Hi, Everyone , went down to London a couple of weeks ago they have compared my ct scan with the ct scan they did after my Y-90 treatment in 2010 and told me that there has been a slow progression of the disease within 17 months , so got to have re-staging ct scan done in june , if progression of the disease is noted within a period of six months ,some more treatment options will be discussed at that time , but i know all they can offer me is another lot of y-90 or interferon injections. They said there was to many for embolization.strange how one hospital said they could not see any change ,but just shows not every hospital know what to look for.

So, here we go again.

Hope everyone is keeping well

Julie
