Advisory Board
Our Advisory Board is a group of specialists from surgeons to dieticians, who all have a wealth of experience working with neuroendocrine tumours. Our advisors are on hand to answer any of your queries that we can’t answer for you immediately.
We have recently added some new members to our advisory board. Andrew Wilson-Webb is our new Political Adviser, and Angie Jones and Jo Grey our Patient Advisors.
Graeme Poston
Mr Graeme Poston is a consultant surgeon with a wealth of experience and a well established NET clinic in Liverpool.
Dr Christos Toumpanakis
Dr Christos Toumpanakis is a consultant gastroenerologist who works alongside Dr M Caplin at the Royal Free Hospital in London.
Philippa Davies
Philippa is senior nurse specialist in the NET unit at the Royal Free Hospital in London.
Louise Causer
Louise is a clinical nurse specialist at the Royal Marsden Hospital in London.
Caley Schnaid
In January 2008, Caley joined the Neuroendocrine Tumour Unit at the Royal Free Hospital, London, to work as the specialist NET Dietitian and develop a dietetic service for the NET patients.
Angie Jones – Patient Advisor
Angie was diagnosed with a pancreatic NET in 2006. She has been a great help to the foundation as a fundraiser.
Jo Grey – Specialist Patient Advisor
Jo runs the charity A.M.E.N.D., which supports people affected by multiple endocrine neoplasia disorders.
Andrew Wilson Webb – Political Advisor
Andrew is Chief Executive of the Rarer Cancers Foundation and has considerable experience in highlighting the issues faced by rarer cancer patients.
Lloyd Barton – Financial Advisor
Lloyd worked for seven years as a Senior Investment Advisor at Lloyd’s Bank, and he is now Senior Business Development manager at Western Union.
