The first annual South Coast Cancer Awareness Exhibition
The Grove, the UK’s first hotel designed to cater exclusively to cancer patients and those suffering from life-limiting illnesses, is hosting the first annual South Coast Cancer Awareness Exhibition, to highlight the enormity of the support network available for those touched by cancer in the South. The NET Patient Foundation will be attending this event and raising awareness about NET cancers.
The event will take place at The Grove on Tuesday 29th May 2012, between 12pm and 6pm, and will play host to exhibitors as varied as support networks to hospices and medical referral options. Members of the public who have been touched by cancer are all being welcomed to attend and see firsthand the extensive facilities on offer at The Grove, as well as gaining a useful insight into each of the exhibiting organisations.
Admission on the day is completely free of charge, to encourage as many visitors to the event as possible. The hope is to make this an important date on the annual cancer-support calendar locally.
General Manager of The Grove Hotel, Brenden Howard, said: “We are delighted to be hosting the South Coast Cancer Awareness Exhibition. We look forward to shining a light on what each of these incredible organisations do for the cancer-affected community and also what we offer as a hotel exclusively for use by those affected by life-threatening illnesses such as cancer. We welcome everyone in the local community, who have in some way been touched by cancer, to join us at this important event.”For more information, visit www.thegrovebournemouth.co.uk.
